Getting Started When the board loads you will be greeted by the help dialog which displays the "about" tab. This screen contains basic information about the board you are viewing. Click the "Enter Board" button to dismiss this dialog. This dialog can be disabled by the board's administrator.
Using the Category Tabs Each board can be set to have one or more categories (B). When there are more than one category to be displayed, category tabs are listed across the top of the screen. Each board is created with a single default category and must have at least one category.
Each category has its own "note space" that extends along an X and Y axis. Note spaces are infinite in size. You can see your location in the note space displayed in the lower right of the screen (F).
Using the QuickNav Along the left side you will find the QuickNav which contains a number of tabs.
Selecting "tools" will show the tools available to you. These are the same tools found in the toolbar.
Selecting "new" will show the latest posts within the selected category.
Selecting "active" will show the most popular notes within the selected category.
When you are signed in, a third tab is available titled "My Posts". Selecting "My Posts" will show your posts.
Beneath the list is a wide-area (12x12) view of the board as seen from your current location. In this view you will see your current view area highlighted with a black rectangle. When you move your mouse over this view a green rectangle shows where you can move to. As you view notes they become "punched" indicating that you have seen those notes during the current session.
Navigating using the Mouse or Key Board You can move along the board by dragging it with your mouse or by using the arrow keys on your keyboard. You can also scroll the board by clicking along the edge of the note area. Additionally the "home" key on your keyboard will take you to coordinates 0,0.
Navigating using the Tool Bar The tool bar along the bottom of the interface (E) is where you can access all the main features of the board. Use the Goto dialog, available only on the full-sized board, to enter specific coordinates. Use the Home button to position the board at coordinates 0,0.
Posting Notes Items placed on the board are called "notes". Notes can be created pressing the post button and then using the Post dialog. After you create a note, you can drag it into any empty space on the board. Board administrators may require that you be signed in to access posting. Posting images, files, and polls always requires that a user is signed in.

Notes can be moved from one category to another, by selecting a new category while the post is being dragged.
